Onion potato flitter


Flitters are evening snacks that are enjoyed with mint chutney and a cup of tea.

Ingredients:

    Flitters batter

      potato 2
       onions2
      gram flour 10 tsp
      water half cup 
      salt 1/2 tsp
      red pepper 1tsp
      turmeric quarter tsp
      coriander seeds powder 1tsp
      mix spice powder 1tsp


    Mint chutney:

     mint leaves 10 to 12
     coriander leaves 12 to 10
     pinch of salt
     Yogurt half cup
     oil for frying

     Instructions:
     Cut onions in thin slices and shred the potatoes.
     put them in the bowl.
     then add the chopped coriander.
     add the gram flour and all the spices.
     add water and mix them until it become a thick          batter.
      rest it for 10 to 15 minutes.

     Frying 

          add oil in the pan.

          heat the oil for first 3 minutes on high flame            then low the heat flame.

         take a spoon and add average amount of                  batter in the oil.

        fry the flitters for 5 to 7 minutes on low flame          until they become golden brown.

        Ready the mint chutney.

         add the ingredients in a blender.

          make a smooth paste and paste it into the                  bowl.

          Serve:

         garnish the flitters with coriander leaves and             with mint chutney.
